Welcome to the typing island! These six units for upper elementary take students to a real typing adventure to collect words and letters in diverse landscapes. Students dive deeper into the fundamentals of keyboarding by learning the letters and basic punctuation in a colorful and stimulating environment.
Six units for middle & high schools feature a modern blue theme. Challenge your students with more complicated words and sentences, and watch them learn how to master number row, number pad, and symbols. The FingerPaths keyboard helps students to visualize key locations and finger movements.

In the original TypeTastic games, the letters on the keyboard are split into nine, color-coded groups. Kids will see the keyboard like a map which in turn helps them to scan the keyboard to find the correct letters. After the games, students find a more traditional looking FingerPaths keyboard which shows four colors, one for each finger. Notice how the keys that are to be pressed using a specific finger are also attached on the visual keyboard. Read more

In all typing units, students start either by typing letter and words and slowly proceed to type sentences, paragraphs and lengthier passages of text. We feel that students are more motivated to type actual text than repetitive letter combinations.

We've also partnered with Clever to provide single sign-on (SSO) and simplified rostering.
